Examine a cowl and check that the size of gaps of apertures of a cowl was in limits of the admissions designated in the figure 8.17.

NOTE The size of admissions is given in mm.

If the size of gaps differs from specified, adjust the provision of a cowl.

Open a cowl, weaken bolts of fastening of levers of a cowl from a cover and adjust the provision of a cowl (fig. 8.18).

Moment of an inhaling of bolts of fastening: 26 N · m.

Close a cowl, check the size of a gap of the closed cover of a cowl and if it is necessary, adjust it on height, rotating the adjusting screws located on a body of the car (fig. 8.19).

If it is necessary, adjust also position of the lock of a cowl.

Wrap up the end of the screw-driver a plaster and, having released clips of fastening of the lever of an unblocking of a cowl, remove the lever (fig. 8.20).

NOTE Clips of the lever of an unblocking cannot be reused therefore at installation of the lever replace them new.
