7.4.4. Check of work of a starter
ATTENTION
Check has to be made in the range of 3–5 with in order to avoid damage of a winding of the stator.

Check of the involving winding of the traction relay.
Disconnect a wire from a starter conclusion "With".

Connect wires from the rechargeable battery to conclusions of the traction relay as it is specified in the figure 7.36.
Make sure that the gear wheel of the obgonny coupling moved forward outside.
If the leading gear wheel of the obgonny coupling does not move forward, then replace the traction relay.
Check of the holding winding.

At the connections executed in the order specified in the previous check, and the put-forward leading gear wheel of the obgonny coupling disconnect a negative wire from a conclusion "With" (fig. 7.37).
Make sure that the leading gear wheel remains put forward.
If the leading gear wheel comes back inside, then replace the traction relay.
Check of return of the leading gear wheel of the obgonny coupling.

Disconnect a negative wire from the case of the traction relay (fig. 7.38).
Make sure that the leading gear wheel of the obgonny coupling was involved inside.
If the leading gear wheel of the obgonny coupling was not involved, then replace the traction relay assembled.
Check of work of a starter without loading.

Connect wires from the rechargeable battery and from the ampermeter to a starter as it is specified in the figure 7.39.
Check that the anchor of a starter rotates evenly and the leading gear wheel of the obgonny coupling is put forward. Measure current by means of the ampermeter.
Nominal current at 11,5 B: 90 A.
