Check the size of the course of the lever of turning on of the parking brake.

Pull the lever of turning on of the parking brake against the stop and count the number of clicks.

Movement of the lever of turning on of the parking brake at effort of 200 N: 6–9 clicks

Movement of a pedal of turning on of the parking brake at effort of 300 N: 3–6 clicks

If necessary adjust the course of the lever of turning on of the parking brake.

NOTE Before adjustment of the parking brake be convinced that the gap of back brake shoes is adjusted (see below).

Remove a decorative casing.

Weaken a lock-nut and, rotating an adjusting nut, establish the required course of the lever of turning on of the parking brake (fig. 6.22, 6.23).

Tighten a lock-nut.

Inhaling moment: 5,4 N · m for the pedal drive, 5,0 - for the lever drive.

Establish a decorative casing.
