Lower the lever of the parking brake. At the switched-on engine press a pedal and measure a stock of the course of a pedal (fig. 6.11).

Brake pedal course stock from a floor covering at effort of pressing of 490 N: more than 70 mm

If the stock of the course of a pedal of a brake does not correspond to set, find malfunction of the brake system.
