6.6.1. Adjustment of height of a pedal of a brake
Fig. 6.8. Scheme of adjustment of height of a pedal of a brake: 1 – rod; 2 – switch of stoplights; 3 – pedal height
|
Check and adjust height of a pedal of a brake (fig. 6.8).
Pedal height from a floor: 144,1–154,1 mm
Disconnect the socket of the switch of stoplights.
Weaken a lock-nut and remove the switch of stoplights.
Weaken a rod lock-nut.
Adjust pedal height, turning a rod.
Tighten a rod lock-nut.
Inhaling moment: 26 N · m.
Install the switch of stoplights and rotate it to a light contact with the pedal course limiter.
Unscrew the switch of stoplights on one turn.
Fig. 6.9. Distance between the switch of stoplights and the limiter of the course of a pedal
|
Check distance "And" between the switch of stoplights and the limiter of the course of a pedal (fig. 6.9).
Distance: 5–10 mm.
Tighten a lock-nut of the switch of stoplights.
Connect the socket of the switch of stoplights.
Make sure that stoplights light up when the pedal of a brake is pressed, and die away when the pedal of a brake is released.
After adjustment of height of a pedal check its free wheeling.
NOTE
If the distance "And" between the switch of stoplights and the limiter of the course of a pedal of a brake was adjusted correctly, the free wheeling of a pedal will correspond to specifications.
