NOTE Before conducting check check pressure in tires, type of tires and the surface of contact.

Establish a steering wheel in the central situation.

Remove an overlay of a steering wheel.

Start the engine and establish idling turns.

Using a dynamometer key, measure effort on a steering wheel in both directions (fig. 5.11).

Maximum permissible effort: 6 N · m.

If the effort on a steering wheel is more maximum permissible, repair the amplifier of steering.

Tighten a nut of fastening of a steering wheel.

Inhaling moment: 35 N · m.

Establish an overlay of a steering wheel.
