Using a micrometer, measure diameter of a piston finger (fig. 2.336).

Diameter of a piston finger – 21,997–22,006 mm.

Subtract diameter of a piston finger from the internal diameter of the plug.

Standard oil gap – 0,005–0,011 mm.

The maximum oil gap – 0,05 mm.

If the oil gap is more, than maximum, replace the plug. If it is necessary, replace the piston and a piston finger assembled.

If it is necessary, replace the plug of the top head of a rod.
