Install camshafts.

NOTE At installation of camshafts consider that the size of an axial gap is very small therefore shaft have to keep within beds of bearings strictly horizontally, without distortions, in order to avoid jamming and/or damage of shaft.

Install the camshaft of final valves of a back head of the block. Apply a layer of engine oil on the face persistent surfaces of the camshaft. Install the camshaft of inlet valves on 90 ° from situation when adjusting tags on a head of the block of cylinders (fig. 2.292) are combined.

Apply jellied lubricant on a new epiploon. Install an epiploon on the camshaft (fig. 2.293).

Remove old sealing material from a cover of the bearing Apply sealant on a bearing No. 1 cover, as shown in the drawing (fig. 2.294).

Establish covers of bearings according to marking on their cases (fig. 2.295).

Apply a thin film of engine oil on a carving and under heads of bolts of fastening of covers of bearings. Establish and evenly tighten ten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings in several passes the moment of an inhaling of 16 N · m, in the sequence shown in the figure 2.296.
