2.4.5.4. Replacement of the valve and the directing plug

Fig. 2.267. Heating of a head of the block of cylinders in a water bathtub

Gradually heat a head of the block of cylinders in a water bathtub to temperature of 80-100 °C (fig. 2.267).

Fig. 2.268. Vypressovka of the directing plug: 1 – drift

Using the drift and the hammer sending to a vypressuyta the plug (fig. 2.268).

Fig. 2.269. Measurement of diameter of boring

Measure by Nutromer diameter of boring under the directing plug in the case of a head of the block of cylinders (fig. 2.269).
Choose the new size of outer diameter of the directing valve plug (standard or repair +0,05 mm).
If diameter of an opening under a guide in the case of a head of the block exceeds 10,313 mm, then chisel an opening under the directing plug to repair (+0,05 mm) diameter of 10,345-10,363 mm.
If diameter of an opening under a guide in the case of a head of the block exceeds the repair size, then replace a head of the block of cylinders. Pick up plugs of inlet and final valves depending on diameters of openings under guides.
Use the standard plug if diameter of an opening under a guide makes 10,295–10,313 mm.
Use repair (+0,05 mm) the plug if diameter of an opening under a guide makes 10,345–10,363 mm.

Fig. 2.270. The directing plugs of inlet and final valves

NOTE
The directing plugs of inlet and final valves differ on length (fig. 2.270).

Length of the directing plugs:
inlet valves – 34,5 mm;
final valves – 40,5 mm.
Heat a head of the block of cylinders in a water bathtub to temperature of 80-100 °C (see fig. 2.267).

Fig. 2.271. Installation of a new guide of the plug: 1 – drift

Using a drift and the hammer, install the new directing valve plug so that she acted from a block head at the corresponding size (fig. 2.271).
The size of a vystupaniye of the directing plug:
the inlet valve – 11,5–11,3 mm;
the final valve – 8,9–9,3 mm.

Fig. 2.272. Deployment of an internal opening of a guide

Using development on 5,5 mm, develop an internal opening of a guide to provide a nominal gap between a guide and a core of the valve (fig. 2.272).
