2.4.4.2. Removal of shaft of inlet and final valves
As the axial gap of the camshaft is very small, for prevention of jamming and/or damage of a shaft at its dismantle it is necessary to hold a shaft in horizontal position, for this purpose it is necessary to observe the procedure of dismantle stated below.
Fig. 2.249. Adjusting tags on the leader and conducted gear wheels of camshafts: 1 – tags
|
For removal of a shaft of inlet valves of a back head of the block of cylinders combine adjusting tags on the leader and conducted gear wheels of camshafts, as shown in the figure 2.249.
Fig. 2.250. Fastening of an auxiliary gear wheel: 1 – main gear wheel; 2 – auxiliary gear wheel; 3 – technological bolt
|
Attach an auxiliary gear wheel of the camshaft of final valves to the main gear wheel a technological bolt (fig. 2.250).
The recommended technological bolt:
diameter of a carving – 6 mm;
carving step – 1,0 mm;
bolt length – 16–20 mm.
Before removal of the camshaft of inlet valves be convinced of reliable fixing of an auxiliary gear wheel by a technological bolt.

|
Evenly weaken and remove ten bolts of fastening of covers of bearings in several passes, in the sequence specified in the figure 2.251.
Remove five covers of bearings and the camshaft.

|
Attach an auxiliary gear wheel of the camshaft of final valves to the main gear wheel a technological bolt (fig. 2.254).
The recommended technological bolt:
diameter of a carving – 6 mm;
carving step – 1,0 mm;
bolt length – 16–20 mm.
Before removal of the camshaft of inlet valves be convinced of reliable fixing of an auxiliary gear wheel by a technological bolt.
