2.4.4.1. Preparatory operations

Merge cooling liquid from the block of cylinders and a radiator.

Using a face key on 5 mm, turn off two nuts and remove the top protective cover (fig. 2.242).
Remove the top part of an inlet collector assembled. Disconnect the following wires and sockets:
– socket of the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve;
– socket of the valve of a control system of idling rotation frequency;
– socket of the electropneumatic valve of system of change of geometry of an inlet collector (ACIS);
– socket of the electropneumatic valve of a control system of fuel pressure;
– the diagnostic socket from an arm on the valve of supply of additional air.
Disconnect:
– a vacuum hose of the amplifier of brakes from the valve of supply of additional air of the ACIS system;
– a hose of system of ventilation of a case from the valve of system of ventilation of a case on a back head of the block of cylinders;
– a bracket and a wire of grounding from the valve of supply of additional air of the ACIS system;
– a grounding wire from the top part of an inlet collector;
– a clip of a vacuum hose from a fuel tube;

– two air hoses of the hydraulic booster of steering from the top part of an inlet collector (fig. 2.245);
– two vacuum hoses from tubes on a block head plate;

– a vacuum hose from the regulator of pressure of fuel (fig. 2.246).

Turn off two bolts and remove an engine arm No. 1. Turn off two bolts and remove a rack of the top part of an inlet collector (fig. 2.247).

Using a face key on 8 mm, turn off two bolts and two nuts and remove the top part of an inlet collector assembled and laying (see fig. 2.221).

Remove an inlet collector in collecting (see fig. 2.222).
Disconnect six sockets of nozzles.
Disconnect:
– an entrance fuel hose from the fuel filter;
– a hose of return of fuel from a fuel return tube;
– a heater hose from an inlet collector.
Turn off nine bolts, two nuts, remove two washers, an inlet collector, a fuel collector and nozzles assembled.
Remove a final branch pipe of the cooling system, having turned off two bolts, two nuts and having disconnected a hose of restart-up of cooling liquid, then remove two laying.
Remove ignition coils.
Turn out spark plugs.
Take off a GRM drive belt.

Remove pulleys of camshafts and an intermediate pulley (fig. 2.248).
Uncover GRM drive belt No. 3, having turned off 6 bolts and having disconnected three clips of conducting.
Remove protection of an electrical wiring of the engine from a flywheel. Turn off two nuts and disconnect protection of conducting against a back head of the block of cylinders and an entrance branch pipe of the cooling system. In a back part of the engine turn off five nuts and disconnect two protection covers of conducting from a back head of the block of cylinders. In a forward part of the engine turn off two nuts and disconnect protection of an electrical wiring against a forward head of the block of cylinders.
Turn off a bolt and disconnect a tube of a supply of cooling liquid from an inlet branch pipe of the cooling system, remove ring consolidation from a tube.
Remove the back heat-shielding screen, having turned off three bolts. Turn off six nuts and remove a back final collector with laying.
Remove the forward heat-shielding screen, having turned off three bolts. Turn off six nuts and remove a forward final collector with laying.
Remove the sensor of position of the camshaft.
Uncover heads of the block of cylinders, having turned off eight bolts of fastening.
