2.3.4.2. Cooling system radiator

The radiator is placed in a forward part of the car and is intended for liquid cooling. The cooling liquid heated when passing through a cooling shirt is cooled in a radiator with an air stream, the prosasyvayemy electric fan, and also the counter flow of air arising at the movement of the car. Models from the automatic transmission have a special cooler of working liquid of the automatic transmission which is located in the lower tank of a radiator. Behind a radiator there is a fan with the electric drive. The fan turns on only if temperature of cooling liquid reaches working value. It reduces power costs of the drive of the fan and prevents overcooling of the engine.
