Check the size of an axial gap of the conrod bearing. Measure by the dial indicator an axial side play of a krivoshipny head of a rod, moving a head back and forth on a conrod neck of a bent shaft (fig. 2.95).

Standard axial side play – 0,160–0,362 mm.

Limit side play – 0,362 mm.

If the axial side play is more than most admissible, replace a rod assembled. If necessary replace a bent shaft.

Standard thickness of a rod – 19,788–19,840 mm.
