Check internal diameters of the directing plugs of valves. By means of a nutromer measure internal diameters of the directing valves at three levels.

Internal diameter of the plug – 5,510–5,530 mm.

Make calculation by subtraction of size of diameter of a rod of the valve and size of internal diameter of the directing plug and establish thus the size of a standard side play between a rod of the valve and its guide.

Size of a standard side play:

admission – 0,025–0,060 mm;

release – 0,030–0,065 mm.

Maximum admission:

admission – 0,08 mm;

release – 0,10 mm.

If the gap is more than most admissible, replace the valve and the directing plug.
