Using 10 mm a face key, in several passes, weaken and turn off ten bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders in the sequence shown in the figure 2.66.

ATTENTION Violation of the sequence of an otvorachivaniye of bolts can lead to damage of a head of the block of cylinders or to emergence of cracks in its case.

Remove ten washers. By means of the screw-driver separate a head from the block of cylinders. Remove laying of a head of the block of cylinders. Remove the union of the oil heater. Remove the VVT-i oil filter. Measure by the dial indicator an axial side play when moving balancer shafts back and forth. (fig. 2.67).

Axial side play of balancer shafts:

standard – 0,050–0,090 mm;

maximum permissible – 0,090 mm.
