2.2.5.10. Check of a radial side play of balancer shafts

Fig. 2.68. Sequence of an otvorachivaniye of bolts of fastening of a cover of the balanced mechanism

In several passes, consistently, turn off eight bolts of fastening and uncover the balanced mechanism (fig. 2.68).

Fig. 2.69. Measurement of gaps in sliding bearings by means of the plastic calibrator

Measure by the plastic calibrator gaps in sliding bearings on each neck (fig. 2.69).

Fig. 2.70. Order of a wraparound of bolts of fastening of a cover of the balanced mechanism

Apply a little engine oil under heads and on a carving of bolts of fastening. Establish a cover of the balanced mechanism. In several passes, consistently, wrap eight bolts of fastening of a cover of the balanced mechanism with the moment of an inhaling of 22 N · m (fig. 2.70).
Mark paint bolts. Tighten bolts on 90 ° in the sequence specified in the figure 2.70. Make sure that markings on bolts are located under 90 ° in relation to initial situation (rice 2.71) now.

Uncover the balanced mechanism. Measure the maximum width of the flattened calibration wire, having determined by it the size of a radial gap.
Radial gap:
standard – 0,004–0,031 mm;
maximum permissible – 0,031 mm.
If the gap exceeds maximum permissible, replace bearings of balancer shafts. If a gap within norm, install bearings of balancer shafts into place.

NOTE
When replacing inserts of the standard size use inserts of one dimensional group. There are three standard sizes of inserts.

Diameter of a bed of the bearing:
marking "1"    ..... 26,000–26,006 mm;
marking "2"    ..... 26,007–26,012 mm;
marking "3"    ..... 26,013–26,018 mm.
Diameter of a basic neck of a shaft – 22,985–23,000 mm
Insert wall thickness (in the central part):
marking "1"    ..... 1,486–1,489 mm;
marking "2"    ..... 1,489–1,492 mm;
marking "3"    ..... 1,492–1,495 mm.
