Control lamp of the ABS system (without system of stabilization of course stability of the car of the car) (fig. 1.141).

This light signal is highlighted when the ignition key is turned in the provision of "ON". If the anti-blocking brake system and the auxiliary brake system work properly, the light signal will go out in several seconds. Respectively, if the system is faulty, the light signal will be highlighted again.

If the control lamp of the ABS system (and the control lamp of the brake system does not burn) is highlighted, the anti-blocking brake system and the auxiliary brake system do not work, but the brake system works, as usual.

When the control lamp of the ABS system (and the control lamp of the brake system does not burn) is highlighted, it means that the anti-blocking brake system does not work therefore wheels can be blocked at sharp braking or when braking on slippery pavings.

If there is one of following circumstances, it will indicate malfunction in the elements controlled by system of the prevention. Contact your dealer of Toyota as soon as possible for carrying out maintenance of the car.

– The light signal is not highlighted when the ignition key turns in the provision of "ON", or remains included.

– The light signal is highlighted during driving.

Short-term inclusion of a control lamp in operating time does not mean a problem.

ATTENTION If the control lamp of the ABS system is highlighted together with a control lamp of the brake system, immediately stop your car in the safe place and contact your dealer of Toyota. In this case not only the anti-blocking brake system will not work; the car during braking will also be extremely unstable.

This light signal is highlighted when the ignition key is turned in the provision of "ON". If the anti-blocking brake system and the auxiliary brake system work properly, the light signal will go out in several seconds. Respectively, if the system is faulty, the light signal will join again.

When the control lamp of the ABS system (and the control lamp of the brake system does not burn) is highlighted, the anti-blocking brake system, the auxiliary brake system, a control system of draft and system of stabilization of course stability of the car do not work, but the brake system works as usual.

When the control lamp of the ABS system (and the control lamp of the brake system does not burn) is highlighted, it means that the anti-blocking brake system does not work therefore wheels can be blocked at sharp braking or when braking on slippery pavings.

Short-term inclusion of a control lamp in operating time does not indicate a problem.
