At the parking provide reliable turning on of the parking brake to exclude casual movement of the car.

With the mechanical transmission.

For inclusion: pull the lever (fig. 1.131) up. For the best holding effort at first press a brake pedal, and you hold it until install the parking brake. For switching off: slightly pull the lever (1) up, press the button of an unblocking (2) and lower the lever (3).

With the automatic transmission.

For inclusion: press against the stop a pedal of the parking brake. For the best holding effort at first press a brake pedal, and you hold it until install the parking brake. For switching off: press a pedal of the parking brake at the pressed brake pedal.

For a reminder on the switched-on parking brake the lamp of a reminder on the switched-on parking brake on the dashboard remains included to an otpuskaniye of the parking brake.

ATTENTION Before a start of motion, be convinced that the parking brake is completely released, and the lamp of a reminder on the switched-on parking brake is switched off.
