For turning on of the air conditioning system in the automatic mode, press the AUTO button, at the same time on the display there will be an inscription "AUTO" displaying the choice of work in the mode of automatic functioning.

In the mode of automatic functioning the air conditioning system chooses the most suitable speed of the fan, an air stream, an admission of air and includes-switches off air conditioning according to temperature.

If you press the AUTO button and set the air admission mode in situation FRESH, internal circulation can be used for the maximum cooling.

You can use manual regulators if you want to choose own installations.

Press the party (increase) or (reduction) of the corresponding button for adjustment of speed of the fan.

In the automatic mode you do not need to regulate fan speed if only you do not want to set other mode of speed of the fan.

For temperature increase press the party with a sign, for fall of temperature press the party with a sign.

"MAX. COLD" appears at the choice of the maximum cooling, and "the MOVE. NOTES" – at adjustment before the maximum heating.

Press the OFF button for switching off of the air conditioning system.

Press the buttons for the choice of the air vents used for an air stream (fig. 1.114).

In the automatic mode you do not need to choose an air stream if only you do not want to choose other mode of an air stream.

1. The panel – air moves, mainly, from air vents of the dashboard.

2. Two levels – air move from air vents at the level of a floor and air vents of the dashboard.

3. Paul – air moves, mainly, from air vents at the level of a floor.

4. The floor / windshield – air moves, mainly, from air vents at the level of a floor and air vents for a windshield.

The button of an air stream for a windshield – When pressing this button air moves, mainly, from air vents for a windshield.

Repeated pressing of this button leads to return of system to the former mode of an air stream.

Pressing of the button of a windshield leads to simultaneous inclusion of air conditioning in the mode of heating of glasses. At this time the indicator of the A/C button, regardless of that turns on, the A/C button is pressed or not. It is provided for more bystry cleaning of the forward review.

For switching off only of air conditioning, press the A/C button once again.

If the A/C button is not pressed, air conditioning is switched off by pressing of other button of an air stream.

Press the button for the choice of a source of air (fig. 1.115).

1. RECIRCULATION – is carried out

recirculation of air in the car.

2. FRESH – is carried out an admission of external air in system.

If temperature of cooling liquid of the engine becomes too high, the RECIRCULATION mode will be automatically chosen. It is not malfunction. At fall of temperature of cooling liquid of the engine the system will resume work in the previous mode.

For prevention of fogging of a windshield, the mode of an admission of air can automatically change on the FRESH value, depending on a condition of the air conditioning system.

For inclusion of air conditioning press the A/C button. The indicator of the A/C button will light up. For switching off of air conditioning press this button once again.

If the indicator of the A/C button blinks, it means that in the air conditioning system there were problems, and the air conditioning system is automatically switched off. If it occurs, deliver your car to the dealer of Toyota for maintenance.
