For inclusion of the following light signals turn the handle of the lever of inclusion of headlights / indexes of turns (fig. 1.54).

Situation 1 – parking, back lamps, illumination of registration plates, lamps of side dimensions and illumination of the dashboard.

The indicator lamp of back lamps (green) on the dashboard specifies that back lamps are included.

Situation 2 – headlights and all listed above lighting.

Situation 3 ("AUTO") – headlights and/or all listed lighting in situation 1.

They join and switched off automatically depending on surrounding lighting.

At entrance to the dark tunnel, a garage, etc. for inclusion of headlights, as required, turn the handle in situation 2.

Before inclusion of headlights adjust the level of light of headlights.

The sensor of automatic control of lighting is installed from the driver in the top part of the dashboard (fig. 1.55).

Not to close this sensor, put nothing on the dashboard and/or you do not fix on a windshield.

If automatic control of lighting joins too sooner or later, address your dealer of Toyota for adjustment of the sensor.
