The signaling device reminds that the forward passenger has to be fastened by a seat belt.

At turn of the ignition key in the provision of "ON", a signaling device of a reminder begins to blink if the passenger on a front seat, and the seat belt is not fastened. But if the forward passenger uses an additional pillow for a seat, then the signaling device can not blink even if the seat belt is not fastened.

If on a front passenger seat there is a baggage or other loading, depending on the weight and an arrangement on a seat, then sensors which are built in a seat pillow can record this loading that will lead to inclusion of a signaling device of a reminder.

This signaling device warns about a discharge of the rechargeable battery.

If the signaling device joins in driving time, then it indicates a malfunction in system of charging.

Nevertheless, ignition of the engine will work until the rechargeable battery is discharged. Switch off the air conditioner, the fan, the radio receiver, etc. and address directly the closest dealer of Toyota or in repair shop.

ATTENTION Stop the car if the driving belt of the engine is damaged or weakened.

This indicator warns about existence of malfunction in system of electric equipment of the engine, system of electronic regulation of the engine or electric system of the automatic transmission.

If the indicator lights up at the movement, as soon as possible check / repair the car at your dealer of Toyota.

If the speed of the engine does not increase when pressing an accelerator pedal, then existence of malfunction in system of electronic regulation of the engine is possible.

Even in attempt of correction of violation of work of system of electronic regulation of the engine at the movement at a small speed work of system can not be restored to a stop of the engine and turn of the ignition key in the provision of "ASS" or "LOCK".

This lamp warns about too low pressure of oil in the engine.

The control lamp can incidentally blink if the engine idles, or to join quickly at a stop with sharp braking. If at small acceleration of the engine the lamp goes out, then the system works normally.

The control lamp can join at extremely low level of oil. This lamp is not intended for the warning of the low level of oil therefore periodically check oil level by means of the probe.

Control lamp of low level of oil in the engine (engines 2AZ-FE and 1MZ-FE).

This lamp warns about too low level of oil in the engine. Add oil as soon as possible.

During driving on steep slopes, bumpy or twisting roads the car can strongly be shaken, and as a result of fluctuations of oil in the engine this lamp can join.

In usual conditions because of an oil consumption this lamp can join before the interval provided by the plan of maintenance. It is caused by an oil consumption to low level within an interval according to the plan of maintenance and does not demonstrate malfunction existence.

ATTENTION Long operation of the engine with the low level of oil in the engine leads to damage of the engine.

This signaling device joins when fuel level in a tank is close to zero. On inclined and twisting roads because of the movement of fuel in a tank the control lamp of level of fuel can join before usual.

ATTENTION At the first opportunity fill a tank, without waiting for lowering of an arrow of the index on the lower mark of a scale. The lower provision of an arrow corresponds to a reserve reserve of fuel in a tank.

Cars without system of stabilization of course stability.

This lamp joins at turn of the ignition key in the provision of "ON". If the anti-blocking brake system and the auxiliary brake system work normally, then the lamp will go out in several seconds. After that the lamp joins at emergence of malfunction in one of these systems.

If the control lamp of "ABS" (and the control lamp of the brake system does not burn), then do not work the anti-blocking and auxiliary brake system joins, but the brake system works normally.

If the control lamp of "ABS" (and the control lamp of the brake system does not burn), then the anti-blocking brake system does not work therefore wheels can be blocked at sharp braking or when braking on slippery pavings joins.

In the cases given below it is a malfunction sign in the components controlled by system of the prevention. Address your dealer of Toyota as soon as possible for carrying out maintenance of the car.

– At turn of the ignition key the control lamp does not join in the provision of "ON" or continues to burn.

– The lamp joins at the movement.

Short-term inclusion of a control lamp in operating time is not a problem sign.

In this case the anti-blocking brake system does not work, and the car is extremely unstable when braking.

ATTENTION If the control lamp of the anti-blocking ABS brake system burns together with a control lamp of the brake system, immediately stop the car in the safe place and contact your dealer of Toyota.

This control lamp joins at turn of the ignition key in the provision of "ON" and if the anti-blocking and auxiliary brake system work normally, then the lamp in several seconds is switched off. After that the lamp joins at emergence of malfunction in one of these systems.

If the control lamp of "ABS" (and the control lamp of the brake system does not burn), then the anti-blocking and auxiliary brake system, a control system of draft and system of stabilization of course stability do not work joins, but the brake system works normally.

If the control lamp of "ABS" (and the control lamp of the brake system does not burn), then the anti-blocking brake system does not work therefore wheels can be blocked at sharp braking or when braking on slippery pavings joins.

Emergence any of the listed below conditions is a malfunction sign in the components controlled by system of the prevention. Address your dealer of Toyota as soon as possible for carrying out maintenance of the car.

– At turn of the ignition key the control lamp does not join in the provision of "ON" or continues to burn.

– The lamp joins at the movement.

Short-term inclusion of a control lamp in operating time is not a problem sign.

This lamp remains included, all doors will not be densely closed yet.

This lamp warns about existence of malfunction in system of stabilization of course stability of the car or a control system of draft.

This lamp lights up for several seconds at turn of the ignition key in the provision of "ON".

If the lamp burns, means the system of stabilization of course stability of the car and a control system of draft does not work. But if when pressing a pedal the ordinary brake system works, then it is possible to continue the movement without problems.

At emergence of one of the following situations address your dealer of Toyota:

– the control lamp does not light up after inclusion of ignition;

– the control lamp continues to burn after inclusion of ignition;

– the lamp joins at the movement.

At inclusion of a control lamp of "VSC" the indicator lamp "TRC OFF" even without pressing of the TRC OFF switch lights up.

The sound signal joins when opening a door of the driver and reminds that the ignition key is in the provision of "ASS" or "LOCK".
